Title: Scar from rolling too much?
Post by: whattheheck on October 12, 2013, 04:26:08 AM
Hi, I just rolled for the first time and I think I got too enthusiastic rolling my crowsfeet because now I have bumps, one on each outer corner of the eye, and it looks red and swollen but Im concerned I did too much damage or this could be because I used the same roller for both eye areas. Thanks

Don't worry, those bumps are not scars. Getting bumps after microneedling is not a common reaction but sometimes the skin can react like that. The bumps will disappear.

We have for example a customer who suddenly got bumps after the fifth rolling. So, it can happen any time but the bumps are harmless.

Make sure to rinse the microneedling instruments with tap water after you clean them with dishwashing detergent.  (And remember that cleaning is not the same as disinfection - that's a separate stage).
