Stamp it eight times. If it heals well, you can increase it to ten.

Thanks for the answer Sarah. Am looking forward to receiving my orders.

This type of scar is very likely to improve. I recommend a 1.5 mm dermastamp with 35 needles (stamp the scar densely every three weeks). If you get no improvement after six months of stamping, add the suction pump.

Sarah I'm a bit puzzled, when you say 'stamp the scar densely', you mean stamp on the scar for how many times? Sorry for being long winded..

Hi. I would like to tag on to this thread as the scars on my forehead looks exactly like DCLA.

Sarah, would you kindly advise me if a dermastamp or single needle is more suitable for such scar?

Thanks in advance for your answer.  :)

Dear Sarah, since my chicken pox scars are single indented box scars quite for apart from each other, I was wondering that after needling, while should I use immediately, Copper peptide + Hyaluronic acid serum 30 ml / 1 fl. oz. or Copper peptide mask?

Could you give some instruction on how to use them for my case?

Thanks for your advise Sarah. However I have another question. I have Retinol A serum.  Is it better to apply Retinol A than copper peptite since the scar is not opened from any needling yet?

Dermarolling / Microneedling / Chicken Pox Scar

Hi Sarah. I have been reading up on needling for chicken pox scar in this forum for about 2 weeks now. You see, I am middle age now and have had a few bad scars on my forehead from chicken pox which its last scab fell off about a month and 10 days ago. One of them exactly on the top of my nose bridge, starting of my eye brow on the right side. Can't possibly do laser as it will burn off that part of my eye brow. The only best thing to do will be needing. I finally decided to register and clear some of my doubts before taking the plunge. Would appreciated if you help to answer my questions below:-

1. When is the best time to start needling? How long should I wait before starting then?

2. Can I start putting copper petite on the scars now?

3. I plan to do single needling on the scars. Is this the best option?

4. What skin regime do you suggest that I adopt for the time being?

I hope I didn't come across as long winded. I'm really frustrated for having these scar.

Thank you in advance for helping to answer my queries.
