« on: May 21, 2011, 06:15:33 PM »
I have been attempting to correct some hypopigmentation, using the single needles.  May I do this procedure more than once q 4-6 wks which is my usual range of frequency for derma rolling???

Thanks in advance :).

Dermarolling / Microneedling / Subcision frequency

In order to cut down on the weekends I am stuck at home due to having done procedures on my face, do you think I could do the derma rolling, derma stamping and needling, and then do subcision on my deep scars, all in one long session, with the sessions being about 4-5 weeks apart?   Do you think that would be too much for my facial skin to endure in one sitting?  Thanks, as always, for you learned and thoughtful advice!!!

Dermarolling / Microneedling / Subcision frequency

Forgot to mention that I had used the 1.5 mm derma stamp on scars last time I rolled entire face.  Will I disturb any of the progress I have made if I use the stamp on the scars I have been injecting?  I will be rolling my entire face approximately one week after these latest saline injections.

Thanks again for your patient guidance.

Dermarolling / Microneedling / Subcision frequency

I decided to use the every two weeks schedule for my saline injections, and have good news.

After a year of monthly rolling with a 2 mm roller with needling, and 2 saline injection treatments (2 wks apart), I am seeing improvement as evidenced by the fact that it is becoming more difficult to find the scars I intend to inject.  I never thought that would happen!  The scars' borders, which were at one time very distinct, now are much softer, with some being difficult to see except with bright light.

I intend to continue to attempt the injections every 2 wks for 12 more wks, and intend to continue the rolling for another year, with the goal of someday being able to go make-up free!!!!!  I would love that!

Thanks to you, Sarah.

Is it OK to needle all of my individual scars on the same day I roll?  (That way I only have "the mess" one time per month.)

As a life-long sufferer of acne I have tried everything, and have found the best spot-treatment for acne is Steris Alcare alcohol foam cleanser and Lerosett clay, both which are easily purchased from on-line sources.

The minute I feel the very slightest bump or red area I cleanse it with the Alcare foam- rub the foam gently into the spot for at least 5-15 seconds (it disappears), and then apply Lerosett clay to the spot for 2 hours.  I then clean spot again approximately every 1-3 hours with the Alcare foam, as my schedule allows, rubbing the foam into the spot.  Then cleanse face at bedtime with regular cleanser, then clean spot with Alcare foam again, and apply Lerosett clay to spot, leaving on overnight.  Keep doing this for as many days as it takes for spot to disappear.  You will be amazed at how much less traumatic this spot-treatment is compared to many other treatments, and it really works- I usually find that after a few days the small plug that was causing the acne spot will just roll out of the spot when I am rubbing the spot with foam.  (You can put a small amt of Lerosett on spot after work if your social life allows.)

The Lerosett clay is organic which I consider a plus.  This regimen has worked for me after suffering from acne for 41 years.     Good luck!

How long should I wait after needling acne scar before I inject the saline solution, and, how often can this procedure be done?

Also, if I am rolling every 4-5 weeks, when in that schedule should I do the subcision?

Last question: May I roll with .25 narrow roller, for product absorption, in-between all of this?

Thanks again for your wonderful products and your knowledge-based advice.

Dermarolling / Microneedling / derma stamp
« on: January 04, 2011, 02:58:03 PM »
Is it okay to use the stamp on a box car scar that is slightly smaller in diameter than the stamp- will I damage the adjacent skin???  I plan to use the 1.5 mm stamp on targeted areas which include a box car scar and a few depressed scars, and then do a rolling with a 2 mm roller on my entire face.   Will this be safe and wise?   Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the info- somehow I previously missed this post.  I actually have been rolling for 10 months and have noticed a big difference in my skin, and a gradual, but steady,  improvement in my decades-old acne scars.  I feel so much better about my appearance, and feel more confident when meeting the public.  You really have been a God-send to me.

I had looked at several sites before choosing to purchase from your company.  I noticed some "warning signs" myself, including, frequently a lack of writing skills by so-called professionals, testimonials by clients who were rolling much too frequently, and a lack of information regarding safe procedural practices and the physiological processes involved.  I thank you again for the research you have done, and for your attention to safe and effective procedures, and the information you provide re: the science behind it all!  Without that info I never would have proceeded.  Additionally, on my last skin cancer check my dermatologist informed me she noticed an improvement in the scarring based on past photos.  She was the person who recommended rolling to me after both a Pearl laser treatment and a CO2 laser treatments were only minimally helpful.  She told me she felt it was the best procedure for me, even though she does not do it in her office.

I feel confident when I order from you that I am getting safe equipment and sound advice.   So, once again, thanks!

Dermarolling / Microneedling / Stitches on face
« on: December 10, 2010, 02:21:09 PM »
I had to have a small lesion removed from my face, and had 2 stitches which were removed today.  How long before I can roll that area with a 2 mm, or even a .25 mm, roller?

Thanks, as always......

Dermarolling / Microneedling / Saline injections for acne scars
« on: October 18, 2010, 11:17:57 PM »
I want to try this, and I am a RN so have lots of experience with injections.  Should I do the single needling weekly for a few weeks before I do the injection?  And, should I dermaroll before or after I do the injection?

Thanks for your advise and expertise.

Dermarolling / Microneedling / frequency of treatments and results
« on: August 01, 2010, 12:38:09 AM »
Does this mean I can single needle the couple of deep scars I have every 1-2 days, in between my 6 wk intervals of derma rolling my entire face with the 2 mm roller???

I received my copper peptide masks promptly.  Should I use a mask before rolling, or after, and, how often after rolling?

Additionally, I have enlarged pores on my nose.  How often may I single needle those pores in order to possibly help decrease the size of each pore?

Thanks, as always......
