A 1.5 mm regular dermaroller is a good choice for sagging post partum skin and rolling with a 0.5 mm dermaroller (up to three times a week) in between the 1.5 mm sessions is also a good idea but in case of frequent sessions with a 0.5 mm dermaroller it is wiser to buy another 0.5 mm roller and use it only on the abdomen to insure that your other 0.5 mm roller (for the face) stays sharp.
 
If the skin is still sensitive from the A-Ret, the best is to reduce the frequency of applications. A-Ret is a mild acid peel so the skin may always be a little sensitive from it.

I like scars and wrinkles in men..
 
Currently there is no method that can completely remove a scar. You can only improve the appearance of the scar and make it less visible.
 
If the skin trauma from follicle donation caused the recession of fat right under the skin or the fat was somehow taken together with the follicles and that is why the area is indented, dermaneedling will not help the indentation. Dermaneedling will improve damage or indentation that is in the skin but cannot affect the structures underneath it.
 
For all your scars, buy a 1 mm dermastamp and stamp them every 10 days. You do not have to use any products or pretreatment on the scalp area. I do not think you will be able to stamp the back of the head yourself and you will likely have to ask someone to do it for you.

You should try our 0.5% Tretinoin cream. It helps with post acne or other spots/pigmentations.

Buy a regular 0.5 mm dermaroller and roll the areas up to three times a week. If the spots do not improve in a few months, buy a 1 mm dermastamp and stamp the spots every 10 days.

When to apply bezoyl peroxide depends on how long needles you use. If you roll with size 1 mm or longer, you should not apply it until a day after. If you roll with shorter needles, wait preferably a few hours.

You can use vit. C and benzoyl peroxide but do not apply them both the same day. If possible, apply them in turns.

Currently there is no method that can make pores smaller. There are some reports from users that mild acid peels in some cases temporarily made the appearance of pores better but there are also claims that overusing acid peels made pores bigger.

Because glycerin or other gelly substances will stick to the needles and prevent the alcohol from properly reaching the needles. The needles should be cleaned with dishwashing detergent and lukewarm water after your dermarolling session and soaked in alcohol or Chloramine T.

Gels are not very suitable for instrument disinfection.

When you run hot water over the bottle neck, it gets hotter than the top and hence expands more. Then take a kitchen knife and gently tap the underside of the top and the vibrations will loosen it after a few taps.

My reply applies only to the day of dermaneedling. A day after is already OK for sports, provided you do not get the treated area full of mud or other dirt and there will be no repeated strong friction in the treated area.

The painfulness of dermaneedling is really individual as well as other factors such as how long the skin remains red, how much pinpoint bleeding there is, how much the skin peels afterward setc.
 
I am glad you found it bearable, even with long needles.
 
Solarcain products contain a low percentage of the numbing ingredient benzocaine or lidocaine and it likely helped a little.
 
Yes, you can use the single needle, the dermastamp and the dermarolling during the same session. It does not matter what you start with but for practical reasons it is better to start with the most targeted instrument and finish with the least targeted one. It means first needle, then stamp and then roll. The reason for this sequence is that if you fist roll, the entire area will become red and you will not be able to see and target precisely the scars or the wrinkles (or whatever is your goal) with the dermastamp or the single needle.
 
The general rule is, do not roll again if the skin is still red, dry, tender or swollen from a previous session.
 
I think you do not have to worry about the glue of the needles because the main ingredient of that product was ethanol and all the other ingredients except the main one are added in very small quantities.
 
To be honest, it did not cross my mind they would add acetone to rubbing alcohol because rubbing alcohol is intended for skin disinfection and there is no reason to add acetone.
 
I guess they added a little acetone to denature it (to make it impossible to drink).
 
Ethanol is usually denatured with isopropyl alcohol.
 
Rubbing alcohol usually contains ethanol or isopropyl alcohol or their mixture.
 
The only reason why a very high percentage of (not denatured) ethanol is regulated is to prevent it to be used for drinking and thus avoiding the very high taxation of alcohol that is normally levied for alcohol indented for consumption.
 
In other words, they have to still allow for example laboratories or hospitals to purchase a high percentage ethanol cheaply (without high added taxes) but they have to prevent that it is sold for consumption because alcohol for consumption is subjected to huge taxation.
 
This is the reason why it is so difficult to get ethanol that is not denatured by isopropyl, acetone etc.
 
Isopropyl alcohol is also a solvent but we found out that in percentages up to or around 50% there was no problem to use it for soaking the dermarolling instruments. Several of our customers soaked their dermarollers in 80% isopropyl alcohol and the roller glue disintegrated.

The last sentences in first paragraph on page 12 of our instructions now have the answer:

The needles will become blunt after a certain time. Apart from needle quality, this depends on how often you roll, how large the rolled skin areas are, how many times you roll over the skin, how tough and thick your skin is and how strongly you push the needles in. A roller can be used many times and lasts quite a few months, but for serious work on larger areas of skin you'd have to count with around two rollers a year. Rollers with shorter needles that are used much more last shorter. This question is impossible to answer really, because male skin is thicker than female skin. On top of that, scar tissue is harder than ordinary skin, facial skin is soft and thin, etc. A very rough estimation for a 1.5 mm roller is two rollers per year. When you feel that the needles don't penetrate as easily as they did when the instrument was new, it's time to replace it. This goes for dermarollers, dermastamps, single needles but also for needle cartridges for electric needling devices. With an electric device, you will start notice increased pain and reduced pinpoint bleeding.

Prick the entire scar with rows of pricks positioned tightly next to each other without any gaps and then go over it once or twice again with the same density.
 
However, start slowly and during you initial needling, needle relatively sparsely to see how the skin reacts and how it heals. If everything is OK add on density of pricks with your next session.

To be honest I do not know whether Retin A has anything to do with it and I have never heard a similar complaint about Retin A. Retin A does not depigment the skin, it just speeds up the turnover of the skin and thus speeds up diminishing of hyperpigmentation but perhaps in your case you should stop using it and see what happens.
 
Applying Retin A just to supply the skin with vit. A can be done indefinitely but you do not have to apply it as frequently as when you are using it to keep acne under control or to diminish post acne spots or pigmentations.

No, you should not use stronger acid peel.
 
I think that a numbing cream is not necessary for a 0.5 mm size but it depends on you.
