Test it first on your arm to see how your skin reacts in general (how long it stays red etc.) and then test it on your face.

Dermarolling is a relatively new method. Nobody was microneedling 20 years ago so it is not possible to say with certainty how long the results will last. Scars that improved five years ago with microneedling are still improved today but there are individual variations, just like there are results variations with other methods. Also, wrinkles or lines that are directly related to facial mimics (such as the crow's feet) will reform quicker as the mimics will continue to (re)form them. Dermaneedling cannot stop aging. 

I tend to recommend almond oil but you can use any of your oils. For the face, olive oil and coconut oil may be too heavy.

Sprinkle a cotton pad with water, add oil and apply it on your skin. More about oils here:

Scars are not an easily solved problem and in case of stubborn scars that do not respond to standard methods, I advise to improvise and try various approaches (such as for example needling and stamping during the same session). She is demonstrating the correct technique, with the exception that she should be moving the roller a tiny bit sideways after every roll. The most important however was showing the movements themselves, the need to fully release the roller from the skin before you do the next roll. That prevents going into the same channels multiple times.

Her technique would also be an acceptable one, as long as she creates a sufficient prick density in the skin.

The main thing is to always remove the roller after every rolling motion.

The skin on the lips is very thin skin and they have no sebaceous (oil producing) glands which makes them extremely prone to drying out.  The part of the lips that gets frequently wetted by saliva is actually even more prone to drying out.

You should always keep an oily film on the lips to prevent evaporation. Vaseline is very efficient for this.

I do not think you have a fungal infection; it seems that the area is "raw" and it has never healed.

You can try to treat the area with Betadine ointment (a topical antiseptic containing povidone-iodine) just in case there is a microbial infection.

The Dr. you were referring to is not impartial. The video you were referring to promotes his own store with skin products, very expensive skin products, such as a small bottle costing $248 dollar. That man is in the business of spreading disinformation with the intent of making as much money as possible. He feels threatened by us spreading truth. W make nearly no money on our $3 vit. C product. We have to pulverize the vit. C, weigh it and fill it off, print the labels, tamper-seal the bag with another bag, pay taxes etc. We make 50 cents profit per bag. His creams are outrageously expensive and clinically unproven, whereas our approach is. His profit is in many cases 50 dollars per small bottle. He uses the extra credibility his medical degree gives to make profits that are 100 times higher (100000% higher).

If there really was a better method for bringing vit. C into the skin, we would formulate such a product and sell it under our own brand, just like we did that with a 0.025% Retinoic acid cream we produce ourselves.

This is answered on page 5 of our instructions. Every 10-14 days. It doesn't matter whether the needle is used in a dermastamp or dermaroller.

Applying a cream/oil prior to dermaneedling is not necessary and it will make the needles greasy but you can do it if you prefer it. You should keep the skin moisturized after microneedling.

Yes. I highly recommend you our 0.5% Tretinoin cream. It will keep acne under control, reduce oiliness and diminish hyperpigmentation.

The collagen will stay long, but not forever.

We have sold dermaneedling tools to more than ten thousand customers. A few managed to shrink their pores through dermaneedling, in the majority of customers the pores were unaffected and three customers reported that it appeared that their pore size increased. One of the three reported that his acne scars improved but the pores seemed larger. The other of the three reported that her pores got bigger but that they went back to normal after a couple of months.

The only way to find out how your skin will react is to do a small test patch.

I recommend either the single needles or a 1.5 mm dermastamp with 35 needles. Needle or stamp it densely every three weeks.

In case of Melasma, you apply the skin lightening product immediately after microneedling to enhance its penetration. Do not apply anything else immediately after dermaneedling. Just the lightening product.

You do not need Infadolan or vit. C. If the skin gets dry, use a moisturizing cream but not immediately after stamping.
