Stretchmarks...

Hi, I wanted to know if it is possible to get some extra vitamins or do some pro- stretch mark actions? Is dermarolling safe for yet not stretchmarked skin?

As I saw in the photograph of your website, a woman who had done single needling and had great improvements, would you say her stretch marks have almost disappeared? When they get 50-60% better, do they still have the indentations? Could you describe the best results- how they look and if the noticeability is that great? Can they LOOK disappeared? If they can not be removed completely, but to others- can they look unnoticeable?

Thanks

Dermarolling is totally safe for stretch mark-free skin but there has not been any research done (as far as I know) on whether dermarolling could prevent or partially prevent stretch marks formation. I have answered a similar question here:

/a>

There are studies concerning the role of vitamins and other substances or even massage therapy etc. in the prevention of stretch marks but none of them were successful in finding an effective stretch mark prevention.

The best stretch marks prevention I can recommend is not to significantly gain weight or fluctuate in weight and not to use oral or external corticoids unless it is totally unavoidable.

The stretch marks of the "photo-customer" you mentioned still do have indentations. The biggest improvement in her case is that the texture of her stretch marks is smoother and their color darkened - they are much more blended with the surrounding skin and that makes them almost invisible.

I have summarized some feedback from our customers regarding their experience with dermarolling for stretch marks here:

There seem to be new possibilities for hypopigmentation however, keep in mind that Bimatoprost was only tested for Vitiligo, which is quite different from stretch marks:
