If they are moles, use apple cider vinegar. I removed 4 moles using this technique and they healed well and it was not painful. Let me know if you have any questions.

It is dangerous to remove them yourself since some can be cancerous but I made sure mine were not changing in shape/size or bleeding since these are signs of cancer.

Contact me if you have any questions. I can post some before and after pictures if you'd like.

I read how rubbing alcohol stings broken skin so I guess it is better to wash with water after needling. Thank you again, I am very impressed with your products!

Thank you Sarah. I read the entire post. I will use 70% isopropyl alcohol since that is what is available at my drugstore.

I just want to make sure I understand everything before I start needling. I first clean the area I want to needle and my dermaroller with the 70% isopropyl alcohol. If I do get some pin point bleeding during the rolling session or after I am done needling, can I wipe the needled skin and my dermaroller with this solution?

Hi Sarah, when disinfecting the skin and single needle/roller for needling, do we use isopropyl alcohol or ethyl alcohol? What concentration do we use? Thank you for your time.

Dermarolling / Microneedling / Re: Dark Pigmentation on Lip
« on: February 04, 2013, 09:04:58 PM »
Hello Sarah, I have posted previous photos of my lips several months ago where you can see dark spots on my BOTTOM lip. They were bothering me so I decided to remove them using apple cidar vinegar (I could not get a hold of hydroquinone). I placed acv on a ear swab and held it there for about 10 min for 3 times a week and I did this for 2 months. The dark spots peeled off but they were bleeding and it was painful. However, I made sure I was moisturzing my lips a lot.

In the new pictures below, the dark spots are gone, but I really dislike how the middle part of my TOP lip peels constantly and from the images below, you can see that the skin is peeled and is red/raw. I do not pick the skin on my lips and I ALWAYS moisturize and exfoliate my lips well so I don't know why this is happening. I have had this condition for about 1 year now. I am not sure if it is fungus on my lips but it does not seem normal. Should I see a doctor?

Dermarolling / Microneedling / Selling a bleaching/whitening agent
« on: November 10, 2012, 11:57:36 PM »
Hi Sarah, I was wondering if you are going to sell some type of bleaching/whitening agent like HQ in the near future? It's just useful as a spot treatment to lighten a pimple mark or a birth mark.

Thank you for your reply Sarah. I only want to lighten the dark pigmentation spots on my BOTTOM lip (I am not sure if you can see them in the image but they are brown dark spots near the center of my bottom lip). I like overall color of my lips (and that "natural lip liner") but I dislike the dark spots on my bottom lip.

I read about lightening the dark spots with lemon juice or hydroquinone (I have 4% hq) but I am worried it will irritate my lips. Do you think I should try either method ONLY on my bottom lip dark spots?

Dermarolling / Microneedling / Dark Pigmentation on Lip
« on: October 04, 2012, 12:39:03 AM »
Hi Sarah, about a year ago, I started getting dark pigmentation spots on my bottom lip only and I feel like it has gotten worse. Is this only a medical issue or a cosmetic issue or both? Should I see a doctor? How can I remove the pigmentation?

Just to add, I don't smoke or drink alcohol/coffee and I am generally pretty healthy. However I do have dry skin and my lips are always dry/cracked but I always put chapstick on and never pick at them.

Dermarolling / Microneedling / Re: dermaroller or dermastamp for scars?

Thank you so much for your help Sarah :) What do you think is more painful, a dermastamp or a dermaroller?

Dermarolling / Microneedling / dermaroller or dermastamp for scars?
« on: September 04, 2012, 05:46:28 PM »
I have some stretch marks on my knees (only 2 on each knee) and a very old scar on my knee as well. I don't know whether I should use a dermastamp or a dermaroll to improve them. If anyone has used both, which one is less painful and easier to use?

11
Thank you Sarah. I think I would feel more comfortable using single needles instead of a dermastamp. Is that okay?

12
lagale they are shallow scars but they do bother me (which is why I am going to needle them).

Sarah, should I use retin a, single needles, infadolen, or vit c?

13
That's weird. I can see the image.

14
thank you for the instructions Sarah!

Can you please suggest to me a routine for improving my face scars?
Just to note, I don't smoke and I am not prone to acne but I have dry skin.

Also, if I wanted to buy some supplies for dermarolling/needling, how much is the cost of shipping to Canada?
