Title: Cherry Angiomas
Post by: sumobaby on November 29, 2012, 01:40:55 AM
Hi, I've got 1-2 tiny Cherry Angiomas near to my temple n forehead. I'm kinda concern if I can derma roll or derma stamp on them? Does derma rolling causes them to become bigger or bleed profusely?  Or should I avoid rolling over them completely?  I need some advice.. cos my new derma roller & stamper were on their way here... Thank you & much appreciated.  :-[

Cherry angiomas are spots that are very densely packed with capillaries. From our experience, capillary problems such as dilated veins or cherry angiomas are neither improved nor worsened by microneedling. Rolling over them is safe though, and it won't make it any worse.

For Cherry angiomas, you could try vascular laser or an old fashioned but still very effective electrocautery, cryotherapy, shave excision etc.

Thank you Sarah for your prompt reply! I'm glad I can still derma roll inspite of that :) I'm taking more veg juice now while still waiting for my derma roller & stamp to arrive from the other side of the planet.  Hv a blessed day!
