Title: Treatment after Needling
Post by: lina on February 28, 2012, 02:39:45 AM
Hello Sarah,

because I have Acne scars on my face I am glad that I found your homepage.

Now, I have a very basically question:

In your description how to use the needles you wrote that the scars should be washed with warm water after needling. Is this step really necessary or would it also be okay just to wait some minutes without washing the skin until using infadolan? In my opinion there is a great risc that bacteria could get into the wound when washing the wound.

What do you think?

Best regards,

Lina

You do not have to worry about dangerous bacteria in tap water in modern societies. If you can drink it, you can certainly use it to wash the needled area.

It won't be necessary, but if it makes you feel safer, boil the tap water first, let it cool and then use it. There is no need to let it boil for longer than a second.
