Title: Seeking advice on dark crease lines and surgical scar
Post by: dannu on June 06, 2012, 11:30:38 PM
Hello Sarah,

I had severe eczema behind my knees as a child.  I believe this left me with very dark crease lines and uneven skin tone back there.  I also had surgery on the side of my big toe many years ago and that left me with a nice prominent scar.

I've tried conventional treatments (creams and exfoliation behind knee, laser on scar) in the past that have helped a little but would still like to improve things as much as I can.  Would you recommend Dermarolling on either of these?  Thank you so much.

You can try a 1.5 mm ONE LINER dermaroller both on the lines and on the scar.

Your scar is in an area that is painful to roll but I think it will be doable with the one-liner.

Apply Tretinoin cream (we sell it) on your dark lines. It increases the turnover of the skin and this should lighten them.
