Title: Best Needles For Chicken Pox Scars on Face
Post by: rosievst on June 24, 2012, 08:00:50 PM
Hello Sarah,
Would you please tell me what the best needling option would be for two 30 year old chicken pox scars - each about an 1/8th of an inch wide?  One is on my forehead above the eyebrow and one is low on my chin.

I've single needled both about three times, six weeks between each session, but have seen no change at all.  Should I try to dermastamp these instead?

Thanks for everything you do,
Michele

If an indented scar does not respond to microneedling, it is always advisable to try the suction method. Please read my reply #5 in this thread:

You do not need a dermastamp, continue using your single needle.
