Title: Hypo/hyper pigmentation
Post by: Dan on June 26, 2012, 11:07:31 AM
Hello everyone,

This is my first post, so greetings all. I am a 34 year old male with severely sun damaged skin. The main problem areas are upper back arms and face. Before making a purchase could anyone advise me on what products would be beneficial for my problem. I have hyperpigmentation (with some hypo) on the upper side of my arms that i would like to diminish. On my upper back (strangely lower back i dont have 1 blemish) i have unsightly hypo pigemtation, weird redness, hyper pigmentation etc (this area of the skin is thick). On my face just hyper pigmentation and redness uneven tone etc. I have a high resistance to pain and stinging even if high doesn't really bother me. I have heard ginger and basil can aid hypopigmentation though have not been able to find any literature on this. So i am all ears. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Regards
Dan

You should definitely use Tretinoin cream (we sell it). It works for hyperpigmentation and sun damage. Buy the 0.1% Tretinoin for your arms and back. This percentage is too strong for the face so mix some into your ordinary facial cream and use it on your face.

Start using a 0.5 mm regular dermaroller, about three times a week.

On the days when you do not roll, apply Tretinoin.

Initially, Tretinoin dries out the skin so you have to moisturize a lot.

If you get no improvement in six months, write me again. Sometimes the pigmentation is very deep (in the dermis) and that is much harder to solve.
