My question is what is the point of the dermastamp if I use a single needle manually?
Single Needle Advantages:
- Can control the amount of pricks/cm^2
- Various angles
- More precise (affects less surrounding tissue and less overall redness because of it)
Single Needle Disadvantages:
- More time consuming than a dermastamp
- One needle versus many needles (may dull faster and need many single needles)
This said, the single needle disadvantages only appear to be time and possibly money. If both of those are non factors, why even bother to dermastamp? Clearly a single needle can duplicate the effect of a dermastamp, but in a more accurate manner.

A dermastamp comes in more needle lengths and the single needle is more time consuming but more precise, and you can precicely decide exactly where to use how many pricks.. For stubborn scars and stretch marks, using both in one session is worth trying. Larger areas are very time consuming to treat with a signel needle.
