1) It is always advised to wait for 6 to 12 months after accutane's last dosage, while i am on accutane,my skin is cleared hence i feel its apt to dermaroll on the face, but if i discontinue accutane for around six months my acne relapses because of which i cant roll on my face. what am i supposed to do?Besides my skin is not very thin type.

2) i had performed 3 sessions of dermaroller with 2mm,on my nose for hypertrophic scars left by acne, the scars have gone down by 35%,but i have noticed that after dermarolling since a slight scab forms on the nose it blocks my pores causing lot of white heads ,as my skin is EXTREMELY OILY.when i removed those white heads it left visible pores on the nose.

Note: this was done while i was off accutane for over 6 months.

So i need to have few more sessions to reduce the hypertrophic scars. So my question here is can i roll on my face and nose while on accutane as skin is less oily and will my open pores on the nose reduce in size?

Thanks sarah..
But you do not supply single needle or any of your rollers to INDIA. Its very stressful to see my self lik this in the mirror every day.I am 23 years old and every day feels like a battle as i cant go out in broad day light with the fear of clear visibility of my scars. Please let me know if i can dermaroll while on accutane as it is still not clear from the threads.

Sorry, the link I gave you did not work. It should be OK now.

Please read:

It is not recommended to use a dermaroller while on Accutane. You can do a very small test patch to find out how it heals. Repeat the test patch several times to be sure.

I am glad your hypertrophic scars improved after microneedling. Scabs must always be left alone until they fall off by themselves. If you remove scabs forcibly/prematurely, it will very likely leave a scar. Removing whiteheads is also a bad idea. I understand that having a whitehead is annoying and it is difficult not to squeeze it but you should try not to. If the pores left after removing the whiteheads are very fresh, they will probably shrink a little by themselves.

Dear Sarah,
Thanks a lot for your prompt and quick response.
1) Firstly i feel really helpless as i can not purchase your products especially single needles as it will help me greatly in reducing my hypertrophic scars but you do not supply it to INDIA. what can i do about it ?? Please help.
2) I am planning to stamp on my pitted scars and raised scars on nose with 1.5 dermastamp twice a month or should i roll on the nose, what do you suggest?
(I will do a patch test though,as i am on accutane)

I see that you again urged us to ship to India - I removed that posting because it was a duplicate - I am sorry but we do not ship to countries where even tracked packages regularly disappear.
