I'd like to add that I've tried needling and stamping some indented chicken pox scars around a year ago for 4-5 months. My skin healed well in combination with infadolan so i did this every fortnight.

While it improved the texture of the skin and made the scar tissue softer (I even noticed a tiny pimple growing on the scar tissue the other week), the actual indentation has not improved and so i gave up because my priority was reducing the depth of the scar.

However i recently ordered the suction pump and am going to "give that a shot" as you put it.
Logically it makes sense, it's cheap and I don't really have anything to lose.

It will last roughly six months. It also depends how large the area is that you are going to roll.

Tretinoin dries out the skin, so apply a moisturizer prior to Tretinoin and also in between.

No, on the contrary, a dermastamp can absolutely never cause microtearing, because you never move it horizontally - only vertically.

Okay, thank you so much.
I'm going to order the dermaroller, and I'm wondering how long I can use one dermaroller if I use twice a week because it will help me decide how many to purchase at once.
Also, when I apply tretinoin, do I apply it by itself? Or do I have to apply toner and moisturizer beforehand?

I thought dermastamp can cause micro-tearing. (Dermapen can cause skin micro-tearing article)

Hi Sarah

Just emailing a little update... It has been two weeks since my fourth dermastamping session... Most of the inflammation has gone... I'm actually finding that I have to look up close to see the smaller stretch marks so I'm really happy about that... The larger ones I can tell the texture is so much better so I'm pretty sure that with some more sessions the width should decrease... I will email some photos when all inflammation is gone . Thank you for all of your help! Can't wait to start single needling !

Awesome product.

I also use it on any shaving cuts (I Double edge shave).
You wouldn't believe how much of a difference it makes with healing and scarring from those fine cuts.

I used to get a dark line after healing which took weeks, sometimes many months to fully disappear.
Now when i cut myself, I apply a light coating during the day, and a thicker coating at night.
There's been times I've woken up the next morning almost unable to find where the  cut was! The black line scarring has so far been almost insignificant too.

This is on top of using it for burns etc.
